hi! we’re tblscape.
We’re a community where all hosts are created equal. But before we
get to that, here’s how it all started.
A TIMELINE OF EVENTS
The Idea Was Born
Founded by Carlee Gettman and Emily Hollister, the idea of Tblscape was born from a girls group chat (as all good things are).
The best way to get the girls together with busy schedules and a 20-somethings bank account was through dinner parties at each other's houses. After volunteering to be the host more times than not, Carlee (and her bank account) quickly began to realize how expensive hosting and events can be.
She wondered how accessible and convenient it would be if there was an option to rent these items instead of purchasing them. That's when Carlee went to Emily with the idea of a new way to host.

Trial & Error
Over the next six months, Carlee and Emily tested different methods and business models to bring the idea to life. First, they started with all-in-one hosting kits for a flat fee. They quickly received feedback for a need to customize and expand the products and brands.
So, they went back to the drawing board. After months of research, LOTS of trial and error, reading countless books, asking every person they knew for advice and building up a community, Carlee and Emily were ready to break barriers in the hosting and event industry.

Sourcing & Shipping
They set out to source thousands of hosting essentials, from vintage and heirlooms to viral and trending, turning Carlee's entire house into the Tblscape warehouse. Carlee and Emily spent every hour outside of their corporate jobs to bring the Tblscape vision to life.
They began testing the new rental model by partnering with brands and girls clubs in New York City. Once they realized the products could go across the country and back unharmed, they worked on fine tuning every detail and hustled to get ready for launch by 2025.

The Table is Set
After over a year of pouring their heart and soul into their vision, Tblscape was born. Carlee and Emily introduced Tblscape to the world to break barriers and eliminate the unsustainable costs associated with hosting and events.
Tblscape went live on April 8, 2025.
